Opening Archives
- You can open an archive by double-clicking on it in Windows Explorer
(My Computer)
- You can also open an archive by dragging it from Windows Explorer and
dropping it into the PowerZip window.
Extracting ("unzipping") Files

You can extract files by right-clicking on an archive
in Windows Explorer (My Computer) and choosing "Unzip" from the
menu.

You can quickly extract several archives at a time
by selecting the archives in Windows Explorer (My Computer), right-clicking on one of them and
choosing "Unzip" from the menu.
- You can quickly extract an archive in Windows Explorer (My Computer)
to a folder of your choice by right-dragging (dragging with the right mouse button instead of
the left mouse button) the archive onto the folder where you wish to place the unzipped files. When you then
release the right mouse button, you can select Unzip from the menu that will appear.

You can also extract files by opening an archive in
PowerZip, selecting the files you wish to extract and dragging and dropping
into a Windows Explorer (My Computer) window
Compressing Files

You can create a new archive by right-clicking on the
files you wish to compress in Windows Explorer (My Computer) and choosing
"Zip" from the menu.

You can also compress files by selecting the files you wish
to compress in Windows Explorer (My Computer) and dragging and dropping them
into a PowerZip window.
